Create your Own Portable Applications | No installation Required

Every time we go somewhere and work on other PC’s we will be need to carry the applications there and install in their systems and then work on it. Here is a cool tutorial to create your OWN Portable applications which doesn’t need any install.This can be done by using WINRAR. Here in this tutorial i will show you how to create a portable VLC player application. First glance the important files which are needed in order to run VLC player and select them.

NOTE: YOU CAN CHOOSE ALL THE FILES CONATINED IN DAT FOLDER. Eg. GOTO C: ->PROGRAMING FILES-> VLC (CHOOSE ONLY IMPORTANT FILES WHICH ARE NEEDED IN ORER TO RUN VLC) and IF U DNT KNW WCH ONE IS NEEDED FOR UR SOFTWARE TO RUN THE APPLICATION THEN U CAN CHOOSE ALL OF IT CONTAINED THAT FOLDER.

Let's start the tutorial.

1. Choose files which are needed.



2.Right click on selected files and choose add to archive



3. Rename the archive name write anything but word shud b ended .exe in genral tab.
    check the boxes create sfx archive, create solid archive and lock archive
    change the compression method to best. Dnt click on ok move to next step.



3.Goto advanced tab click on sfx options...


4. Now in the General tab you will be needed to write the name of the file which is to executed after extraction.
For this application, set as in the below image:
5.And click on OK.
Now,Under Text and Icon tab change as:


6. Add the name of the file to be created and also the icon image if needed..
Now under the same SFX option go to Modes tab and change the parameters as:


7. And now Click OK in the main dialogue box…
Now your portable file is created and just open the file you will find ther application opened with out any installation.


You have created your own PORTABLE application. In the same manner you can do this for other applications also..
